Website Design
Challenges
Laconia Youth Alliance is a non profit organization in New Hampshire that focuses on youth drug prevention and intervention. LYA came to Jacker Digital looking to establish a website that would showcase their drug prevention after-school programs and resources.
LYA was hoping to obtain a website that serve multiple targets including both students, parents, and local government offices. The main purpose of the website would be to attract students to the program and showcase relevant information and important dates. Due to the non-profit being government funded, the website would also have to display and house specific organizational documents as well.
Solution
Jacker Digital worked with Laconia Youth Alliance to develop a site utilizing Squarespace . This new 13-page site allows them to showcase their upcoming events, community resources, and drug fact sheets. Now the both student and local community can have a place to access this life-changing information.
The site features a custom plug-in directory that is powered by Community Box. This directories features 12 local and nationwide organizations that service the audience and mission of LYA. Not only does this directory have a may but it also quickly showcases what each organization offers and has outbound links to their websites and social media. Once integrated, the Director can be easily updated and expanded by the LYA in-house staff.
